Our Story
With roots in the mountains of Torino and a passion for food and service, the Bambinelli's family is proud to bring a little slice of New York Italian to your neighborhood! Bonnie Marissa Bambinelli, born and raised in the Bronx, moved south to start her family and follow her dreams and in 1980 opened a small pizzeria in Tucker, GA.
With an unmatched flair for hospitality and a wealth of experience" tasting and testing" in the kitchens of her grandmothers; Bina and Filomena, Bonnie saw her little restaurant thrive and become a fixture in the community. Bonnie never knew a stranger and if you were eating in her place, you were either a friend or family. For 39 years she took a "hands on" approach and in doing so touched the hearts of several generations of guests and staff. We lost Bonnie far too soon in 2019 but she left a legacy of hospitality and warmth that will live on through all of those who loved her.
Her son Joseph grew up in the restaurant and helped his mother build and grow the business before opening three locations of his own, and now carries on the work that she began in 1980.
Still family centered, owned, and operated, we love what we do, and we are happy to be part of your community. We strive every day to make sure Bambinelli's remains a great place to eat and to work and we look forward to serving you and your family for generations to come!
